Nevada overtime rules for field crews
Nevada's daily overtime rule is unusual: whether it applies at all depends on what the individual employee earns relative to minimum wage, which makes it the one state rule we cannot configure correctly per company.
What the law requires
Overtime past 8 hours in a workday only for employees earning less than one and a half times the state minimum wage; everyone else is on the weekly 40-hour rule alone.
What it means on a crew
A crew with people either side of that wage line is owed different daily overtime for the same hours, which is not something a single company-level setting can express.

Where we fall short
We withdrew the Nevada overtime preset. Our overtime rules are configured per company and no part of the engine receives an individual wage, so a mixed-wage crew has no correct configuration. Companies already using it keep computing daily overtime after 8 hours for everyone, which over-pays a high earner rather than under-paying a low one, and the setting warns them.
If you are relying on this, ask us before you buy. We would rather lose the sale than have you find out at a hearing.
